Our capabilities

At m4a, we pride ourselves on being industry leaders in plastic injection and composite thermoset moulding, extrusion, mould-making, design and prototyping. Harnessing the latest in technology, we deliver high-quality solutions that meet the exact needs of our customers.

Design

m4a continues to grow rapidly, and processed approximately 1300T per month in 2023.

This includes:

  • DMC and SMC – A fibre-glass and resin based composite, used in compression molding.
  • PP – Polypropylene, a plastic used in injection moulding.
  • HDPE – High density polyethylene, a plastic used in extrusion of ducts and pipes.

Prototyping

m4a is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa. A global warehouse and distribution partner footprint insures our ability to service clients in North America, UK, Europe, Africa and APAC territories efficiently.

Our manufacturing facility covers 38 000 sqm (409 000 sq. ft) with 7 000 sqm (75 000 sq. ft) under roof.

Mould-making and Machining

m4a has an active and expanding export programme. We have established markets in East Africa (the Comesa Region), West Africa, and our near neighbours (the SADEC Region). Deep water exports are to Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

m4a has supply contracts with major International ICT network operators, private construction businesses as well as municipalities.

Plastic Injection & Composite Thermoset Moulding

Current Accreditations include: SABS 1294:2012, SANS 1882:2003 and Certified ISO 9001-2005. Accreditations for our affiliations include FTTx Council Africa, FTTH Council EU, FTTH MENA and the South African Concrete Manufacturers Association.

Plastic Extrusion

m4a has an active and expanding export programme. We have established markets in East Africa (the Comesa Region), West Africa, and our near neighbours (the SADEC Region). Deep water exports are to Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
